Wonderful location, amazing little cottage, with everything you need and then some. If you like wild-life, an amazing garden and swimming in the lakes – this is perfect!
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Fishermans Cottage. From the beginning Gail and Geoff showed great hospitality and were very kind and welcoming. The cottage itself is much bigger in person, and the little touches and effort they have gone to to make your stay more comfortable does not go unnoticed. We enjoyed in particular the jetty available to dock our boat just across the road, and the kangaroos in our backyard every day. We both can’t wait to return and our only regret is we did not stay longer!
You won’t regret staying at this accommodation. Everything is so well thought out from the bottle of wine on arrival to the little snacks. Well appointed kitchenette with everything that you might need for a stay. Loved watching the kangaroos from the lounge room and the birds out the front. We made use of the bikes to wander around the island and check out the beaches and fauna. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Note: no shops on the island so provision accordingly. Will absolutely be back to stay.
