The Gables

This beautiful cottage was designed by the award winning Storybook builders; The Gables will not disappoint with its high pitched ceilings and luxury farmhouse feel. Completed in 2020 this country retreat features beautiful handmade barn door, new appliances and many lovingly restored furnishings. The cottage is beautifully decorated and is guaranteed to please. You can curl up in the reading nook or relax by your own open fire pit. The cottage is nestled across from the property dam with its quaint jetty, and the beautiful cottage garden. The Gables is everything you could wish for in a country side retreat – just perfect in all seasons. The cottage features 1 bedroom with queen bed, the lounge has 1 double fold out sofa. The kitchen is well equipped, there is an ensuite bathroom, Euro laundry, private outdoor BBQ area and all linen, towels are provided. The cottage is pet friendly with a secure yard, and dogs are welcome inside (but not on furniture). Currently does not have a secure yard. The cottage has Wi-Fi and smart TV. Inside the cottage is immaculately clean and modern. Located on the beautiful Gippsland Lakes, this cottage is one of five very private self-contained cottages set on 10 acres in a rural area just 5 minutes’ drive from Paynesville. Paynesville, the boating hub of the Gippsland lakes, can be reached by walking from your cottage along the lovely lakeside walk (around 45 mins) to this quaint village for a large selection of dog-friendly cafes and restaurants.
