About Paynesville
Paynesville is the boating centre of the Gippsland Lakes, with canals running through town, marinas along the Esplanade and boats moored close to many of the houses. It's a relaxed place to stay, whether you bring your own boat or just want to be near the water.
The Esplanade has most of what you need, from Paynesville Bakery and Waterview Bakery in the morning to dinner at Pier 70 or the Paynesville Hotel. The car ferry to Raymond Island leaves from the foreshore. Once you're across, the island's koalas are a short walk from the landing.
We look after more holiday homes in Paynesville than anywhere else on the lakes, from canal-front houses to family homes close to the shops. Eagle Point and Newlands Arm are only a few minutes away if you'd like somewhere quieter.
