About Metung
Metung is a small village on a narrow point of land between Lake King and Bancroft Bay. With water on three sides, most of the village is a short walk from a jetty, a boat ramp or the boardwalk.
Days here tend to revolve around the water, whether that's hiring a boat, fishing from the jetties or walking the foreshore to the Metung Pub for lunch looking over the bay. Aroma Metung is the place for coffee in the village.
Our Metung holiday rentals include waterfront homes and quieter places a short stroll from the village. Lakes Entrance and Bairnsdale are both under half an hour away by car, which makes Metung an easy base for exploring the rest of the lakes.
